Our Commitment

We understand that the present Covid-19 situation is creating a lot of uncertainty and that you may be nervous about committing to a holiday. However we want to re-assure you that we have been working hard behind the scenes to get our holiday program for winter 21/22 in place so that you are able to book with confidence.

In the meantime we are keeping this page for recent updates, frequently asked questions and some positive news to help you plan your winter escape to our snowy mountain environment.

Book With Confidence

We’ve updated our terms and conditions and this includes our new Covid-19 cancellation policy for all bookings, to give you peace of mind when planning your next skiing holiday with us.

In summary, if any of the below conditions are in place for the dates of your holiday or 7 days prior, we will offer you a 100% credit note for use within 24 months or a refund minus your deposit (we may be able to refund this if we are able to resell the property for the same dates):

  • FCO warning against travel to France or Savoie.
  • Government imposed quarantine period on return to the UK
  • Quarantine period imposed by the French authorities
  • Property is closed due to French Government restrictions

All guests must have comprehensive travel insurance in place for their holiday and we recommend this is booked at the same time as your holiday (see condition 3)

Our Covid-19 cancellation policy is supplemental to our booking terms and conditions which you should read carefully and in full. In the event of a cancellation of a booking arising out of or in connection with Covid-19, we shall not be liable to pay you any additional compensation (e.g travel, ski lessons, ski hire etc).

Frequently Asked Questions

Part of our Terms & Conditions for your holiday is that you have adequate insurance. We’ve been keeping our ear to the ground to find out about available insurance policies in light of Covid 19. Some providers are offering medical insurance as we head towards our departure from the EU and we have no doubt more will become available. For some choices you might like to visit:

Please note that we have no affiliation with any insurance company; our interests are only for your safety and cover.

Our cleaning team will be trained on our Covid-19 specific cleaning best practices, and will be supplied with masks, gloves and sanitisers.  Special attention will be paid to high contact areas for example, door handles, light switches, TV remotes and key boxes. For reassurance, we’ve removed non-essential items from our properties ie Information booklets -we will have all this information online instead, plus we will provide guests with a selection of disinfecting cleaning products for use throughout their stay.

We will be offering a virtual check in for all our self-catered and contactless-catered guests, but rest assured our in-resort staff will remain very much on-hand to assist you during your time in Sainte Foy. Should you need us in person, social distancing measures will be respected to protect both you and our team.

Prior to your arrival, our sales and concierge team will help you book all the important extras in advance so you can relax knowing everything is taken care off for your arrival.

You should follow local guidelines with respect to self-isolation and contact your travel insurer to enquire about medical treatment options or repatriation. We are unable to provide any compensation for loss of holiday days as a result of this scenario.

This will depend on the local rules that are in force at the time of travel, both in France and your country of departure. To date they are being recommended on public transport, in shops and lift queues.

If through personal choice, rather than due to governmental action you decide that you wish to cancel your holiday, our normal cancellation terms would apply as shown in ‘what about deposits?’ below. The cancellation charge that will apply will depend on the point at which you notify us of your disinclination to travel.

For clarity and to keep you fully informed, we’ve updated our holiday terms & conditions that include our refund policy, insurance and other important information. We would strongly advise you read them thoroughly before booking your winter holiday for your peace of mind.

We’re looking forward to hearing from you, however, we are still working remotely with a reduced team. This means communication is limited in the following ways:

Telephone
Our telephones are not manned all the time, however you can always leave a voicemail and we will listen to it in due course. One of our sales team will get back to you either by email (if we have it) or a return phone call.

Chat Message
We have a chat messaging system which shows at the bottom of each page. This is a great way to get in touch with us and is quick and easy to use. When the office is not manned you can leave a message for us.

Email
You can either fill in our contact form with a message, and this is a great way to tell us what type of accommodation you would like to book and has some helpful questions to help us answer your query quickly. Alternatively you can email us directly using [email protected]. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

We aim to try to respond within 24 hours, but please be patient in these difficult times.

Opening Dates for Winter 21/22

It’s official, the opening dates for the resort are 11th December 2021 – closing date 18th April 2022! Time to get a ski holiday booked as we eagerly await the snowfall and time in our special Sainte Foy mountain hideaway.

Just a few of the reasons Sainte Foy ticks the social distancing boxes:

  • Consider this – we all wear gloves and face coverings by default on the slopes – it will feel normal. How great is that!
  • Sainte Foy only has chairlifts; none of the big cable cars and gondolas of bigger resorts.
  • Those quiet slopes and pistes – need we say more
