Here’s how it works…
How do you like your eggs in the morning? If you enjoy a cooked breakfast, your chef will be on hand to prepare it for you on 5 working staff days (see specific chalets for more details). Continental choices are also available every day of your holiday.
Enjoy buttery croissants, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts & heavenly French breads. Freshly brewed coffee, a selection of quality teas and fruit juices are also served.
A hearty chalet breakfast is bound to set you up for an exciting day on the mountain!
The traditional welcoming of tea, coffee and homemade cake. After a long day of hitting the slopes, Afternoon tea will be laid out for you in your chalet ready for your return on 5 catered days, or every day in The Peak.
Warming up by the fire and relaxing with a good cup of tea or coffee is the perfect accompaniment to a delicious slice of freshly home-baked cake!
It’s the time to gather around the fire, relax into large sofas and have your chalet host serve wonderfully tasty, chef-made canapés and evening drinks at 7.00pm.
This is the perfect opportunity to go through the day’s events with your friends and/or family before the evening menu.
Your talented professional chef will have been hard at work creating carefully thought out fabulous menus.
Expect ingredients of the highest quality, locally sourced from Sainte Foy and the surrounding alpine area wherever possible; perfectly complemented by wines carefully selected by our sommelier to match your menu.
Evening meals are then followed by coffee & a selection of teas.
The best part is there is no washing up!
Each winter, our chefs and hosts meet with our sommelier to discuss a variety of menus, taste wines and choose perfect matches for all the dishes on our menus prior to the start of the season.
We look for individual and varied choices to suit a broad range of palates – you’re in for a treat!
Celebrating? Just fancy some bubbles? In addition to the wine, we also offer prosecco as well as beers and soft drinks.
It’s your holiday, go on, indulge yourself!
Professional & Experienced Chefs
We believe that Catered chalet dining should be more than just a home-cooked meal, for this reason, we only recruit experienced and talented chefs. They are passionate about food, love to utilise local produce and take pride in creating mouth-watering dishes. This is reflected in the ongoing praise we receive each year for our excellent food and service.
Our chefs all bring their own particular style to the dining table so each chalet has a different weekly menu for the 5 catered nights of your stay. For our guests this means fabulous and exciting up to the minute ideas for meals, often with international flavours; leaving you with wonderful memories both on and off the slopes.
On each of the catered 5 nights there is a set menu however, do let our sales staff know in well in advance of your arrival of any dietary requirements in order that chefs may plan ahead and ensure the best local ingredients are ordered.
If you wish your youngsters to have an earlier tea – all homemade, fresh and nutritious, of course – then please let us know in advance of your arrival so we can pass the message on to your chalet team.
Chalet Hosts – Those in the Know
From weather forecasts to best lunch spots; our chalet hosts are fountains of knowledge and are always pleased to help. You’ll find them unobtrusively available to assist you in planning your days, solving any problems, and always ready offer recommendations whenever you need them.
With an extensive knowledge and true local insight into all the incredible activities that Sainte Foy has to offer, your host is your go-to person for help and guidance to ensure a hassle-free winter holiday.
They’re also on hand to ensure that, upon your arrival, your pre-dinner drinks are topped up, canapés circulated, log fire is burning and the hot tub ready for a relaxing soak to ease your aches and pains after a long day on the slopes.
Want to relax even more? Ask our hosts to book you in for a massage. It’s the perfect treat for special occasions or for anyone you think deserves it.
During your 7 night stay, there are two chalet staff days off (French law has strict guidelines on working hours), however, what a great excuse to lie in and have breakfast at your leisure!
The non-catered evenings also offer you the perfect opportunity to try some of the local restaurants and ensure that you don’t leave the Alps without sampling the local fayre! Don’t forget you can ask your chalet host for recommendations for where to eat out.
