Catered dining should be more than the average home cooked meal, it needs to excite and delight the palate and eye. It’s important to us that you enjoy restaurant quality service to match the luxurious chalet surroundings, leaving you with a lifetime memory. For this reason we only recruit the best and most experienced chefs available. They are passionate about food, love to utilise local produce and take pride in their exceptional talent for creativity.
It doesn’t stop there, in all of our catered chalets we take into account dietary requirements and our chefs are experienced in adapting menus or offering alternatives to ensure everyone has a gourmet experience.

Chalet Hosts – Those in the Know
Anything from weather forecasts to best lunch spots; these guys are fonts of knowledge and helpfulness. You’ll find them unobtrusively available to help plan your days, to solve any problems and to offer recommendations when you need them. How wonderful to relax and know things just get taken care of.
With extensive knowledge and a true local insight into everything Sainte Foy, your host is your go-to person for help and guidance to ensure a hassle-free holiday.
They’re also the ones to ensure your pre-dinner drinks are topped up and canapès circulated as well as having the log fire burning for your arrival after the slopes and the hot tub ready for a relaxing soak.
Food & Beverages
Exciting menus and freshly prepared food are an integral part of a catered ski chalet holiday. We take our food and wines extremely seriously, and it’s something that we’ve perfected!
Each of our chalets offers a slightly different catered service, which can be viewed on the individual chalet pages. If you have any queries at all, please do contact our Sales Team and they’ll be pleased to help.
Here’s how it works…
How do you like your eggs in the morning? If you enjoy a cooked breakfast, your chef will cook to order as you request on working staff days (see specific chalets for more details). Continental choices are also available every day of your holiday.
Enjoy buttery croissants, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts & heavenly French breads. Freshly brewed coffee, a selection of quality teas and fruit juices are also served.
All this is bound to set you up for an exciting day on the mountain!
The traditional welcoming tea and home made cake after a day on the slopes will be laid out for you in your chalet, ready for your return, every day.
Warming up by the fire with a good cup of tea or coffee is the perfect accompaniment to a delicious slice of freshly home-baked cake!
It’s the time to gather around the fire, relax into large sofas and have your chalet host serve inspired chef made canapés and drinks at 7.00pm.
Just enough time to go through the day with your friends and/or family before the evening menu.
Your talented chef will have been hard at work creating fabulous menus for every guest including those with special dietary requirements.
Expect ingredients of the highest quality, locally sourced wherever possible, and perfectly complemented by carefully sommelier-selected wines.
Evening meals are then followed by coffee & a selection of teas.
Each winter, our chefs and hosts meet with our sommelier to discuss a variety of menus, taste wines and choose perfect matches for all the dishes on our menus prior to the start of the season.
We look for individual and varied choices to suit a broad range of palates – you’re in for a treat!
Additionally, we have champagne & prosecco as well as beers and soft drinks.
We hope you’ll enjoy them as much as we do!
For the little ones
A busy day of skiing and sledging makes for hungry children; that’s why we offer earlier dinners for children served at 6pm. They’ll be well fed and tucked up in bed or settled with a movie before you sit down for your evening meal.
Our chefs cater exceptionally for children; whizzing up fresh baby purees, serving healthy and appealing dishes and occasionally inviting mini sous-chefs to help make their own pizzas. Let us know your child’s dietary needs, likes and dislikes and they’ll be able to plan accordingly!
Depending on which chalet you book, there is either one or two chalet staff days off, where a self-service continental breakfast is laid out for you to enjoy at your leisure (please see individual chalets for more details).
The non-catered evening/s offers you the perfect opportunity to try some of the local restaurants and ensure that you don’t leave the Alps without sampling the local fayre!
