Chalet Bataillette is an ideal traditional chalet covering two floors of this traditional Savoyard building. It has been newly renovated to a very high standard to provide an enviable alpine retreat. Chalet Bataillette shares an exclusive entrance with Apartment Ibex, so it would be possible to rent these properties together, meaning combined accommodation for up to twelve people.
The chalet comprises two twin rooms in the eaves of the chalet *, both with ensuite basins, a shared shower and amazing views from their balconies of the mountains surrounding Sainte Foy. These rooms are more suited to children as the ceilings are low in places. There is one master room with an ensuite bath and separate toilet downstairs which is ideal for adults.
The large exposed timbers add plenty of warmth to the cosy living area with the additional features of the log fire, well equipped kitchen and more uninterrupted views of the mountains making this a perfect place in which to recover after a hard day on the ski slopes. It has a TV and DVD player for cosy nights in, free Wi-Fi access to keep in touch with those at home, parking and a ski locker too.
The kitchen is well equipped including a microwave, dishwasher, oven and hobs. With every convenience thought of there is no reason why you can’t cook up a storm!
Chalet Bataillette is a beautiful chalet, within walking distance of the restaurants, shops and slopes of Sainte Foy. It is a true example of French Savoyard style.
* Please note that this is an old property and so some of the ceilings are quite low.
