Chalet Location
Chalet Ambiance offers a high standard of accommodation right in the heart of the resort. Its excellent but quiet location makes the perfect base for any winter or summer holiday.
The chalet has been built to exceptionally high standards and retains much of the character of a traditional Savoyard chalet complete with log fire but with all modern conveniences. It can be rented individually sleeping 8 people, or with the attached apartment to accommodate 12 people in total.
The property is a veritable home in the mountains and there are plenty of personal, well thought out finishing touches. The chalet's open plan living area has deep, comfortable seating around the log fireplace and is equipped with large flatscreen TV with Freeview Sky TV, DVD, and iPod docking station, plus a selection of board games and English books. Wi-Fi internet access is available in both the chalet and apartment.
Large French windows open out onto the balcony, which is the perfect place to relax with a drink after a hard day on the slopes and enjoy the spectacular views across the valley to Mont Pourri and its glacier. Alternatively, share stories around the large dining room table for 12 people.
The kitchen is well equipped for cooking up hearty evening meals, or you are a mere 200 metres from a range of restaurants and, most importantly of all, the chairlifts!
The chalet has two double bedrooms, both ensuite, and two twins with a shared bathroom and an additional separate toilet. Most bedrooms have mountain views and all have ample cupboard space.
Just downstairs, the self-contained ground floor apartment is decorated in a modern European style, with a light and airy open plan living area. The apartment has underfloor heating throughout, and stunning views of the Isère valley and its mountain peaks and glaciers. Sleeping an additional four people, the apartment comprises two bedrooms; one double with ensuite shower room and toilet and one twin with a further family bathroom consisting of bath, shower, heated towel rails, hairdryer and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, oven/hob and fridge/freezer. The apartment also has a double sofa bed, and like the chalet above, also has its own iPod/MP3 docking station.
